DIY Movie Snacks

Movie snacks can be a big issue for people wanting to stick to their wholefood goals but also want to treat themselves! There is nothing wrong with home made movie snacks that you can make for a rainy day in or a trip to the cinemas.

1. Caramel Popcorn

One of the most delicious snacks – the sweet goodness of caramel. You can easily make this & store in an airtight container for a few days or make 1 hour before you put on your film.

Check out the recipe below to try it for yourself

2. Anti-pasto platter

Get your crackers & dip out, this platter is great for an at home movie night. Get some wholefood hummus, brown rice crackers, prosciutto, brazil & pistachio nuts, goji berries and dried figs, strawberries, and slice up some carrots & celery into sticks. You can also choose to get a small triangle of blue cheese or a cheese of your liking if you wish to spice things up a little.

3. Chocolate dipped peanut butter bites

These are ADDICTIVE yet completely wholefood.

Slice up 2 bananas so each piece is approximately 2cm thick. Get ½ a teaspoon of organic peanut butter and sandwich it between two banana slices. Dip half of the banana sandwich into melted organic dark chocolate and set in the refrigerator for 10 minutes!

4. Cookie dough balls

This are my ultimate at home movie snack and we cannot get enough of it in our house. These can be frozen in advance or made the day of and can last up to a week in the refrigerator as well. See the recipe from the link below
